WAGN Railways-
Business Direct branding

Business Direct provided a range of services for the would be business rail user including reserved station parking or a home/office pick up service, first class carriage, complimentary refreshments and newspaper as well as other benefits.

Lindsay Marketing also designed and developed the IT infrastructure and a whole new database, integrated with traditional railway legacy systems, in order to deliver the new service in a fast, efficient and modern way.

Through a series of promotional campaigns which included national and regional press, commercial radio and direct marketing the new service was launched and led to huge incremental business for the train operating company as well as dramatically increased customer loyalty.

Lindsay Marketing Associates was invited to manage the new product development and subsequent promotion of a new concept in added value business rail travel.

After devising and undertaking both qualitative and quantitative research into the requirements of non train users the WAGN Business Direct brand was born.
